Day 16 – Your Favourite Who-Related FanFic:
Now this should be a hard one because I love fanfic. I mean I really seriously adore it more than is reasonable. I hardly ever read real books anymore because all my reading time is spent on fanfic. This is slightly embarrassing when talking to people who know I read alot and try to start conversations with stuff like "So what are you reading right now?" And the best I can give them is "Read this great one shot where Donna stopped the Vogons from blowing up the Earth with paperwork, gotta love the Supertemp!" You get really odd looks as a fanfic aficionado, it is definitely a guilty pleasure. But is is such a pleasure. And that is, after all, why they call it pleasure reading.
I get attached to characters and worlds, been that way since I was a kid, and I love to be totally immersed in a fandom for as long as I can until something new captures my imagination, though I never really drop a fandom, it just gets put on the back burner once I feel like I've read every variation of fic there is to read. I love seeing other people's takes on my favourite characters, I love getting into character's heads the best, and the Doctor has one huge head to get into. And I love the ideas people come up with. Doctor Who especially is such a rich fandom to let your immagination run wild because anywhere and anywhen is totally cannon. (it is also the best crossover fandom I've ever seen for this same reason)
I also love just the idea of fellow fans' creative endeavors. There are some really talented writers in the fanfic world, some are, yes, actively trying to make it as legitimate writers, but most just write for the joy of it. I love seeing the work that would otherwise languish in journals. I could go on and on about why I love fanfiction in general and Doctor Who fanfiction in particular but I suppose I have to wrap this up sometime.
As I started to say in the begging, as much as I adore fanfiction (not to mention the VAST quantities that I read) choosing a favourite should be hard. But though I would be very hard pressed giving you a top 5 or 10, my #1 is without question earlgreytea68's Chaosverse. (the same earlgreytea68 who I ganked this meme from)
It is, and I am fairly certain I am not over stating this at all, probably the most beloved fic verse in the entire Who fandom. It was started as a challenge to write a Doctor/Rose babyfic for her beta (and others) who hates babyfics. And wow did she succeed! Her original characters (the kids) are as real and vibrant as the cannon characters. She has even written several fics where cannon characters are only on the periphery and the kids carry the who story and you never once miss the presence of those original characters. The relationships are real and flawed but not so flawed that it's all angst and whomping on character's hearts. She also has this perfect knack with the Doctor where, you will half forget he's an alien because he's being such a typical guy, and then he'll do something to remind you that yes you are dealing with a 900+ year old alien; and on the flip side, he will be soooo alien and then all of a sudden he will pull out something so decidedly blokey that it totally shakes you out of that higher being awe.
I could just gush and gush about the Chaosverse but I think I'll just end now or I never will. Just, if you like this fandom and read fanfic at all - go read this, seriously, you will thank me for it. (once you emerge from the week or longer readathon her extensive verse takes that is)(also, Chaos Theory in Vortex Orbits in Relative Dimensions in Time and Space is the original story, anything before it in the chronology were written latter as prequels.)

Doctor Who: Day 12
Day 12 – Whatever Tickles Your Fancy:
Today I'm going to have to go with the most wonderful spoof ever. It was made for Red Nose Day If you don't know what that is, look it up, it is fantastic "Do something funny for money" pretty much the whole of the UK spends the day doing ridiculous silly stuff to earn money for children's charities. The evening has a televised show with funny bits and sketches donated from various celebs and shows, musical guests, funny hosts, its awesome. We were fortunate enough to be in London for Red Nose Day last year and it was awesome (helped that David Tennant was the host that year). This is from a few years ago, maybe right before New Who started maybe? Anyway it stars Johnathan Pryce as The Master and Rowan Atkinson, Jim Broadbent, and Hugh Grant and others as The Doctor. Written by Steven Moffat no less. It is hilarious! "The sofa of reasonable comfort"

Doctor Who: Day 11
Day 11 – Your Favourite Season (Classic or New):
This is a hard one, 2, 3, and 4 all have nearly equal standing with me. The one common reason is David Tennant's Doctor but I think that each of his seasons have very different strengths.
Now, as 10/Rose shipper I adore season 2 for obvious reasons, it is also the all around happiest we see 10 (for the same reasons) which is just lovely; sure he has his cosmic angst about the whole Last of the Time Lords thing but Rose soothes that a great deal and 2 is more or less just the two of them larking about space and time and enjoying each other; but I also think it has quite a few fairly weak episodes and everyone was obviously still trying to get settled into things.
3 I think has the highest concentration of really really awesome episodes of any season and the best/most cohesive overarching storyline so I think it might actually be the best, it's not my favourite; while I like Martha and she wound up being pretty awesome, I don't love her, and her blind crush gets on my nerves, isn't it obvious he's grieving? Seriously chick, he's already broken his personal rules by falling in love with a companion, he's not likely to do that again soon and definitely not with the first person to come along, sorry.
Which leaves us with 4 that I think I would have to declare my favourite for 1 simple reason. Donna. I adore Donna. She was just exactly what he needed. Loud and brash and so decidedly not in love with him, but compassionate and more mature and just a true friend to him. Not to mention that Catherine Tate is just plain hilarious and the buddy chemistry between Catherine and David is just amazing. They are the perfect foils for the other's comedic instincts and they light up a the screen with how much they obviously enjoy working with each other. Season 4 is just hands down the funniest season and we all know that's usually the deciding factor with me.
Season 4, Doctor/Donna (this is beautifully edited):

Doctor Who: Day 10
Day 10 – A Who-Related Photo That You Took:
This one is fairly lame but it's the only Who related picture I've taken, unless you count taking a picture of the opening credits with my cell phone to be my wallpaper. Technically I wasn't even the one to take it, Leif was. It's just my Four scarf (that I knitted myself, pretty proud of that) hanging in our hotel room in London. If you look closely you can see a Tesco bag and a SFX magazine with Planet of the Dead stuff on the cover.

Day 09 – A Who-Related Photo That Makes You Angry/Sad:
This one I can't choose between the entire last 10 minutes of Doomsday, especially the wall scene and The Doctor's tears in the Tardis, or the 10th Doctor's final moments, "I don't want to go" indeed, we didn't want you to either!

Doctor Who: Day 8
Day 08 – A Who-Related Photo That Makes You Happy:
This one was hard there are so many cute and/or happy pics that make me smile and I hesitated on my final choice because it ended so tragically but in the end I had to go with it because there was no other moment that quite so nearly brought me to joyful tears on first viewing as this one. The look on his face as he finally runs to Rose is just so (painfully when you know what happens next) joyful and relieved and as if several centuries had been lifted from his shoulders. So even though there are better pictures, and funnier pictures, and pictures from moments that weren't so bittersweet, I'm picking this as the single most joyful moment, ignoring any consequences after.

Doctor Who: Day 7
Day 07 – Your Favourite Piece of Music:
Surprisingly an easy one. Don't get me wrong, I adore Murray Gold's soundtracks, but while I would have trouble narrowing down my top 5 or 10, by #1 and #2 win by landslides. #2 is Doomsday; it makes me want to cry every time I hear it but it is just such a gorgeous piece of music, simultaneously old and weary and sad and melancholy yet youthful and hopeful and driven and determined, and romantic and just plain all around heartbreaking in the most beautiful way possible. (I also just adore the upright bass's central and unusually melodic roll; I do so adore the low strings) But as much as I can wax lyrical about Doomsday, it isn't my top choice. #1 is the beautiful, sweeping, This is Gallifrey: Our Childhood, Our Home. I has something in the neighborhood of 130 play on the iTunes on my dead laptop, I love it that much. It literally gives me chills every time I listen to it, it it that perfect and beautiful. It is perfect as the theme for Gallifrey, the lost home world of the Time Lords, "The oldest and most mighty race in the universe; looking down on the Galaxys below.", full of ancient gravitas and majestic soaring strings, but with a powerful and alien edge and just a touch of melancholy. It is just so incredibly atmospheric and transportive and is one of my favourite pieces of music of all time, not just from Doctor Who.

Doctor Who: Day 6
Day 06 – Whatever Tickles Your Fancy:
I believe I have made it quite clear that I am a hopeless David Tennant fangirl and as such, Ten is and always will be my favorite. However, that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy this last season very much. I certainly had some complaints about it. I think the emotional connection with The Doctor has gone downhill, not sure if that is Matt or Moffat's fault, and there were several pretty weak episodes. But the one thing I loved, and I think may have even improved is the humor. Now that is entirely the writer's there, David is just as funny if not funnier than Matt. Now don't get me wrong, RTD is hilarious, it's just that his jokes tend to be more situational, or take a while to build; Moffat on the other hand is a master of the one liner. And I do adore one liners so. So for today here are some of the best funnies of season 5, there are some missing that I would have certainly included and a few that I went, "really?", over their inclusion but this is a pretty good representation. Enjoy!

Doctor Who: Day 5
Day 05 – Your Favourite Companion: Again soooo hard. I adore Rose, I am a hardcore Doctor/Rose shipper and a good 75% or more of the fanfic I read is Doctor/Rose stuff. And after Big Bang I am absolutely in love with Rory, he is quite possibly the sweetest guy ever (only excepting my darling husband). But I think in the end I have to say Donna. Donna is just so wonderfully funny and such a fantastic foil for Ten. She is just what he needed, someone who just wants to be a friend, no crushes, no complications; someone who won't take any of his crap and isn't too terribly impressed with him and his ego, someone who despite her brassy exterior is incredibly tender hearted and who truly cares about him and somehow manages to get him to open up a little and help him heal. And she is the funniest of all his companions and we all know that is the key to my heart.

Doctor Who: Day 4
Day 04 – Your Favourite Doctor:
This is probably the easiest question on here. Now don't get me wrong, I like all the Doctors (that I have seen). I love Tom Baker (4), Patrick Troughton (2), and Christopher Eccleston (9); and I absolutely adore Matt Smith (11, to my everlasting surprise!) But the Doctor that will forever be "My Doctor", my favourite and the one who captured my heart and imagination and made me fall in love with the show will always be 10, David Tennant. Sure he can get a bit mopey and emo at times, but he's rather entitled with what RTD put him through. David Tennant is a phenomenal actor and his skill is what made 10 so wonderful. The mercurial mood shifts, the bounce and life and energy, the manic grin, the depths of grief, his incredibly expressive face and eyes, the speed at which he can deliver rambling and complicated lines, even the costume choices. I mean, I enjoyed the first series but I don't think I was really truly hooked till the speech on the Sycorax ship "The great big threating button that must never ever ever be pressed under any circumstances." And I think I love ten even from "New teeth...that's weird." The fanfic authoress I ganked this off of summarized it well:
"...it was Ten--smirky and vulnerable and commanding all in one package--that sold me on the show. I was in love with him from almost his very first moment. Yes, we had our differences, he and I. I disagreed with many of his decisions, and I grew weary of his moping, and what he most needed was a good talking-to by SOMEONE (and I would have volunteered), but I almost feel like that just adds dimension to my affection for him. I find him bloody infuriating, and I know he'll grin in delight at some completely ridiculous thing and I'll forgive him. ~earlgreytea68 of Live Journal
That, right there, it absolutely it. Well... that and, how can any Whovian resist the Doctor who is played by the biggest geekiest fanboy of the lot of us.
Deep, beautifully acted melancholy, alien, and/or powerful Ten:

I disagreed with many of his decisions, and I grew weary of his moping, and what he most needed was a good talking-to by SOMEONE (and I would have volunteered), but I almost feel like that just adds dimension to my affection for him. I find him bloody infuriating, and I know he'll grin in delight at some completely ridiculous thing and I'll forgive him. ~earlgreytea68 of Live Journal
That, right there, it absolutely it. Well... that and, how can any Whovian resist the Doctor who is played by the biggest geekiest fanboy of the lot of us.
Deep, beautifully acted melancholy, alien, and/or powerful Ten:
and some good old happy/funny Ten:

Doctor Who: Day 3
Day 03 – Your Favourite New Series Episode:
Oh goodness.... umm.... I think I'd have to come down to Blink in the end. Just such a brilliant ep all around. Unicorn and the Wasp and The Lodger are definitely just barely #2 and 3 though. Ooh! And Human Nature/Family of Blood! And I actually love Doomsday too. I mean yeah it usually makes me cry but I still love it, it's just so beautifully done. And Big Bang was brilliant too!
Blink:
Unicorn and the Wasp:
The Lodger:
Human Nature/Family of Blood:
(I'm not going to put Doomsday or Big Bang clips up. All of my favourite bits are waaay to spoilery)

Doctor Who: Day 2
Day 02 - Your Favorite Classic Who Episode:
The Pirate Planet, with The City of Death a very very close second. My taste is rather predictable you will find when I tell you that those two episodes are the ones Douglas Adams wrote. (Douglas Adams as in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Douglas Adams) Sure the production values (and some of the supporting cast) are laughable, but the writing is fantastic as is Tom Baker as The Doctor. The City of Death also has the bonus of a hilarious John Cleese cameo.

Oops/Meme
Well so I kinda forgot about this. Oops. This isn't strictly a post either but a meme that's going around the Who fandom like the flu and i just couldn't resist joining in. But, as I lack a fic journal, I am posting this here
Day 01 - Your Favourite Quote
Oh Where to start! This is going to be a long list, bear with me...
"This is my timey-wimey detector. It goes ding when there's stuff. Also, it can boil an egg at 30 paces, whether you want it to or not, actually, so I've learned to stay away from hens. It's not pretty when they blow. "
"Yeah, listen, listen, got to dash... things happening. Well... four things. Well... four things and a lizard."
"People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff... "
"The angels have the phone box"
" I shall be taking you to Old London town in the country of UK, ruled over by Good King Wenceslas. Now human beings worship the great god Santa, a creature with fearsome claws and his wife Mary. And every Christmas Eve, the people of UK go to war with the country of Turkey. They then eat the Turkey people for Christmas dinner, like savages."
"I'm the Doctor. I'm a Time Lord. I'm from the planet Gallifrey in the constellation of Kasterborous. I'm 903 years old, and I'm the man who's gonna save your lives and all six billion people on the planet below. You got a problem with that?"
"Mr Copper: [on Christmas] It's a festival of violence! They say that human beings only survive depending on whether they've been good or bad! It's barbaric!
The Doctor: Actually, that's not true. Christmas is a time of, of peace, and thanksgiving, and... What am I on about? My Christmases are always like this!"
"The Doctor: I just want a mate!
Donna: You're not mating with me, sunshine!
The Doctor: A mate! I want a mate!"
"You fought it off with a water pistol! I bloody love you!"
"General Staal: General Staal of the Tenth Sontaran battle fleet. "Staal The Undefeated!"
Doctor: Oh that's no good. What if you get defeated? "Staal The Not-Quite-So-Undefeated-Any-More-But-Never-Mind?"
" He saves planets, rescues civilizations, defeats terrible creatures... and runs a lot. Seriously, there is an outrageous amount of running involved."
"I'll just step into this police box and arrest myself"
"Adelaide: State your name, rank, and intention!
The Doctor: The Doctor. Doctor. Fun."
"I'm looking for a blonde in a Union Jack. A specific one, mind you, I didn't just wake up this morning with a craving."
"Who looks at a screwdriver and thinks 'Ooh, this could be a little more sonic'"
"Well, I've got a banana, and in a pinch, you could put up some shelves."
"The Doctor: Mister Spock?
Rose Tyler: What was I supposed to say? You don't have a name! Don't you ever get tired of "Doctor"? Doctor Who?
The Doctor: Nine centuries in, I'm coping."
"Mrs. Harcourt: My leg's grown back! When I come to the hospital, I had one leg...
Doctor Constantine: Well, there is a war on... is it possible you miscounted?"
"The Doctor: Who am I to argue with history?
Rose Tyler: Usually the first in line."
"The Doctor: Funny little human brains... How do you get around in those things?
Rose Tyler: When he's stressed, he likes to insult species.
The Doctor: Rose, I'm thinking.
Rose Tyler: Cuts himself shaving, does half an hour on life forms he's cleverer than."
"I'm the Doctor; I'm worse than everyone's aunt! ...And that is not how I'm introducing myself."
"Amy: Have you ever run away from something because you were scared, or not ready, or just... just because you could?
The Doctor: Once. A long time ago.
Amy: What happened?
The Doctor: ...Hello!"
"The Doctor: The writing... the graffiti: Old High Gallifreyan. The lost language of the Time Lords. There were days, there were many days, where these words could burn stars, raise up empires, and topple gods.
Amy: What does this one say?
The Doctor: ..."Hello sweetie"."
"Amy Pond: What if the gravity fails?
The Doctor: I've thought about that.
Amy Pond: And?
The Doctor: We will all plunge to our deaths. See? I've thought about it!"
"There's something that doesn't make sense. Let's go and poke it with a stick."
"Ah, here we go. Oh, my boys, my poncho boys, if we're going to die, let's go out looking like a Peruvian folk band."
"Amy: That's breaking and entering!
The Doctor: What did I break? Sonic-ing and entering, totally different."
"He is too skinny for words. You give him a hug you get a paper cut!"
" I'm stuck...on Earth like....like an ordinary person. Like a human! How rubbish is that? Sorry, no offense. But come on! "
"Donna Noble: Let me distract this one. I've picked up a few womanly wiles over the years.
The Doctor: Let's... save your wiles for later. ...In case of emergency."
"Ah! I'm thick! Look at me, I'm old and thick! Head's too full of stuff! I need a bigger head! "
"The Doctor: Nice door skills, Donna.
Donna Noble: Yeah, well, you know. Boyfriends. Sometimes you need the element of surprise."
"I'll try my hardest not to die. Honestly, it's the main thing."
"Everyone knows that everyone dies. And nobody knows it like the doctor. But I do think that all the skies in all the worlds might just turn dark, if he ever accepts it."
"Donna Noble: I made up the perfect man. Gorgeous, adores me, and hardly able to speak a word. What does that say about me?
The Doctor: Everything. ...Sorry, did I say "everything"? I meant to say "nothing". I was aiming for "nothing", accidentally said "everything"."
"Box falls out of the sky, man falls out of a box, man eats fish custard!"
"Do I have a face that nobody listens to? Again!"
"Well I just saved the world... the whole planet for about the millionth time, no charge, yeah, shoot me, I kept the clothes"
"I don't know! It's a thing in progress! Respect the thing."
"Blimey! Fish from space have never been so... buxom! "
"Tell me the whole plan! ...One of these days, that will work."
"Amy Pond: Shall I run and get the manual?
The Doctor: I threw it in a supernova.
Amy Pond: You threw the manual in a supernova... why?
The Doctor: Because I disagreed with it."
"Excuse me! I am making sense, you just aren't keeping up!"
"Don't dis the sonic!"
" Is this how time normally passes? Really really slowly, and in the right order?"
"Amy: Please tell me you have a plan."
The Doctor: No, I have a thing. It's like a plan, but with more greatness."
"The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant."
"Annihilate? No. No violence, do you understand me? Not while I'm around. Not today, not ever. I'm the Doctor, the Oncoming Storm. ...And you basically meant beat them in a football match, didn't you?"
"The Doctor: You graffitied the oldest cliff face in the universe.
River Song: You wouldn't answer your phone."
"The Doctor: Okay, need a proper look. Gotta draw its fire, give it a target.
Amy: How?
Doctor: You know how I sometimes have really brilliant ideas?
Amy: Yes...
The Doctor: Sorry.
[The Doctor runs out from behind the Pandorica]
The Doctor: Look at me; I'm a target!"
"The Doctor: How can you be here?
Rory: Well - I don't know. It's... kinda fuzzy.
The Doctor: Fuzzy...
Rory: Well, I died, and turned into a Roman. It's very distracting."
"Never ignore a coincidence. Unless you're busy, in which case always ignore a coincidence."
"River Song: I have questions, but number one is this: What in the name of sanity have you got on your head?
The Doctor: It's a fez. I wear a fez now. Fezes are cool."
"Jackie Tyler, Rose's mum... now, where the hell is my daughter?"
And two Torchwood quotes I couldn't resist adding:
"Excuse me, have you seen a blowfish driving a sports car?"
"Hey! Sometimes a little technobabble is good for the soul!"
But... for all of those wonderful wonderful gems, my absolute favourite is:
"Amy Pond: I thought... well, I started to think you were just a madman with a box.
The Doctor: Amy Pond, there's something you better understand about me, 'cause it's important and one day your life may depend on it. I am definitely a madman with a box!
(looking back I realize that a vast majority of my favourite quotes were written by Steven Moffat, he really is the king of the one liner on Doctor Who)

A round of applause please
"Yay!" This is the most frequently used word at our house these days. Yes, Laurelin has learnt to clap and so we spend most of the day shouting "Yay!" to give her something to clap about. (other than the kitties that is - they get claps without prompting)
She continues to be a champion night sleeper (13 1/2 hours the other night) and a decent napper - who is this child? A far cry from the maybe maybe 8 hours a day total sleep time - night and naps inclusive baby of the first 6 months. My baby will be 7 months on Mother's Day - how is that even possible. Just today I am sorting though 3-6 month clothes to put them away and putting the 6-9 month clothes in her drawers (of course she decides to outgrow all her non decidedly summery stuff the week we are heading to South Dakota and expected temps in the low 50s) - she still fits 3-6 around but she's just too darn tall for her sleepers and onesies anymore. (hope she keeps the tall and skinny thing up till adulthood - I'd love it for her sake if we managed not to pass on that "sturdy" Burns body type) She has also figured out how to bounce in her jumparoo. Used to be you'd set her in there and she'd almost immediately howl to be taken out - now that she can bounce though... just try taking her out before she's ready. She likes to hold onto the bar with beads and froggy as if it were the reins to a bucking bronco as she bounces herself with all her might (is it possible for a kid to give themselves shaken baby?)
She is also completely in love with bananas. I am rather disappointed with this, I was hoping she would also hate them and I wouldn't have to deal with the vile things but alas they are her favorite thing ever. She can devour an entire banana at one setting and yesterday when I tried to introduce the first new food (avocado) since introducing bananas 4 days previous she refused to eat it - wanted a banana and nothing else would do. When I finally gave in and got a banana to mash up she lit up and started clapping the minute she saw it. (I did wind up just mixing about 1/3 a banana with the avocado and she would happily eat it that way)
Now if you'll pardon a (long) moment of geeking out (I really don't blame you for skipping this)- Doctor Who - I was worried the first few episodes that Moffat wasn't going to meet expectations. The plots had been convoluted, there had been no emotional connection, and art direction had been more with an eye for toy marketing than with what actually fit the characters (shiny-happy-rainbow!Daleks anyone?). But then finally there was The Time of Angels and Flesh and Stone. Much much Win! Don't want to say too much (Spoilers, as River Song would purr seductively.) but just...wow. 10 will always always be "My Doctor" but I am very very impressed by 11. I especially love his lack of filter between brain and mouth. I mean - 10 could babble like no body's business and did tons of thinking out loud - but a lot of his babble was to hide his true feelings. 11 on the other hand just blurts out everything - like an old person, Leif said. And since it's safe to say he's lying about his age (he was 900 and something (968?) way back in his 7th body) and is probably well over 1000 by now, I think it's fitting that he's got all these grumpy old man characteristics (not the least of which, his bow tie and tweed coat) - especially while in his youngest body yet. And I like Amy - don't love her yet (Rose and Donna will always be my favourites as much as 10 is) but she's fun - kind of a little bit of all of the girls of NewWho. Donna's forceful personality and refusal to be too impressed by the Doctor's antics, a bit of Rose's confidence and warmth with others, Martha's crush though much less pathetic unrequited longing and more of - "you're kinda hot, let's shag" - maybe I should say she has Jack's crush... Anyway - I hope the rest will take after eps 4 and 5 more than 1-3 - this is what I was expecting out of Moffat, clever, snarky and witty, creepy (I don't know that I will ever be completely comfortable around a statue again), he doesn't do emotion as well as Davies (which I miss) but he is fantastic and I'm glad to see that again.
Hamlet, likewise, is amazing, absolutely amazing. David Tennant is one of the best actors working today and it's just sad he's so little known outside of the UK (unless you're a sci-fi geek) because he can handle any role you throw at him and can take very tired (if beautiful) lines like "To be or not to be" and give them a fresh new life and meaning. And to focus on Hamlet's wonderful sarcastic wit so is very refreshing and makes me like the play for more than just it's beautiful turns of phrase. (besides - no one can do mercurial, manic to melancholy and back again like David Tennant, he actually seems to have a habit of playing manic/depressive sorts now that I think of it... Campbell, The Doctor, Hamlet.) Patrick Stewart is of course as good as one would expect and the pleasant surprise was the guy who played Polonius - Amazing. He did the meandering and confused old fool soooooo well. The Hamlet/Polonius scenes were the highlight of a production that is one big highlight. I'm so glad they listened to the (thousands and thousands name long) petitions and made the film version - this production was too good to be lost as a footnote in the history of theatre.
And with that I will say Adieu for now.

Peer presure - does it count as presure when its more of "Gee, those are fun, I should get back into that too" - strikes again
*baa* I am a sheep.
So several of my mommy friends have wonderful blogs that I am jealous of - I used to enjoy blogging on livejournal a great deal but I got out of the habit during a LOOONG spell of very limited internet access (from Januaryish of '06 - October of '09) during which I got married, bought a house, and had a child. I've halfheartedly tried to revive my poor old LJ a few times but... that was an entire life ago and it is just so woefuly out of date that it makes me feel guilty. So. Here is a shiny and new blog just waiting for my own special brand of verbosity, 5 dollar words, made up words, just plain misspelled words, sarcasm, geekery and the new ingredient of mommy bragging. But as a small someone has apparently woken up from her far to short nap (durring which I meant to do dishes) I shall leave this here.
